Combined USL/NSCV 2008

Application

The Combined USL/NSCV 2008 applies to all new and upgraded vessels from 1 October 2008.

A State, Northern Territory or Commonwealth marine safety agency may also apply the Combined USL/NSCV 2008 to existing vessels: contact your marine safety agency for more information.

Vessels for which an application for design approval is submitted to the marine safety agency prior to 1 October 2008 may comply with the Pre-2008 USL Code provided construction of the vessel begins within a three year period. Contact your marine safety agency for more information.
