NMSC regularly runs National Marine Safety Conferences and its staff participate in other seminars and workshops relating to maritime safety from time to time. Papers delivered at those events have been collected and are made publicly available. Other articles on contemporary issues in marine safety are also published on this part of the NMSC site.

In addition, a bibliography of marine safety has been compiled identifying some key reference publications in the field that have influenced the directions taken in the standards and other publications developed by the NMSC.
