Liz Hay

Liz has had an extensive career in the marine industry, particularly in the area of shipbuilding.  Liz has represented the industry national and internationally, with her work involving representing Australia to the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), as well as co-ordinating and liaising repair work carried out in Australia for the US Navy.

 

Liz has also has extensive Australian representation to international and domestic commercial and defence marine trade shows and conferences, including trade missions etc

Currently she holds the positions of:

  • Chief Executive Officer, Australian Shipbuilders Association Limited
  • Chief Executive Officer, Australian Ship Repairers Group
  • Marine Industry Action Agenda, Industry Leaders’ Group & Implementation Team
  • MIAA, Chair of Innovation Group and Member of Working Groups for Education & Skills, Marketing and Environment & Regulations
  • Board Member, Queensland Marine Board
