The following pages provide an in-depth analysis of national boating incidents in the two calendar years 2005 and 2006. They are designed to focus on the major circumstances surrounding boating incidents and highlight significant areas where boating safety could be improved. As further data becomes available and/or is updated, these pages too will be updated accordingly.

NOTE: ANY INCIDENT DATA PROVIDED HERE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO LAG EFFECTS IN REPORTING, COLLECTION AND DATA ENTRY. LATER PERIOD DATA IS MOST LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED. THE SECRETARIAT WILL CONTINUE TO WORK WITH ALL STATES AND THE NORTHERN TERRITORY TO MINIMISE CHANGES TO THE DATA.
