Lloyds Rules

Lloyds Register's Rules can be purchased in hard copy, CD-ROM or downloadable PDF format from the following website: www.webstore.lr.org. This website details the costs and distribution processes of the various options, as well as providing some useful FAQ's. 

PDF copies of the Rules for SSC, Rules for Ships, and Rules for Naval Ships are FREE to download.  To obtain your copy, and to register for automatic email notification of updates to these rules:

• Step 1: Go to www.webstore.lr.org
• Step 2: If you’re an existing LR Webstore customer just login, otherwise follow the instructions to ‘Register now’.
• Step 3: email rules@lr.org with the following information:
  - your LR Webstore login email address and company name
  - the Rule set(s) you would like to receive (Ship, Naval or SSC)

The "SSC Software" which enables designers to perform structural calculations in accordance with the SSC Rules can be purchased from the following website: http://www.lr.org/sectors/marine/products/SSC.aspx. This website also allows you to download a demonstration copy of the software so that you can try it out before committing to a purchase.
